Romero is the son of the restaurant Ružmarin, whom Dad Ružmarin sent out into the street to play. In this spirit, the Bread & burger bar was opened during the summer of 2020, which along with street food serves a rich gastronomic offer prepared with a lot of love.

It gets its name from the Spanish word romero which means rosemary.

It is located in a building that previously housed offices for the purchase of bus tickets. Slatina, the district where Romero is located, is an important point of transport infrastructure because all local, domestic and international bus lines from Opatija depart from this place. Romero is designed as a place where passengers, passers-by and everyone else can be satisfied with a variety of facilities. In addition to our kitchen, where we prepare a rich offer of food every day, there are also: a heated waiting room open to the public, a place to buy bus tickets, a public toilet and a children's park.
